Cooking
I am passionate about K-Food! In the US, I taught Korean Cooking Classes at the Milwaukee Public Market, Milwaukee Public Schools, libraries, community centers, and partnered with organizations such as Slow Food Wisconsin and Wisconsin Farmers Markets to educate Americans about Korean cuisine.
As a Korean foodie and home cook, I learned to cook Korean dishes by watching and tasting my mother’s homemade food. Some of my favorite items on the menu are Kimchi, Bibimbap, Soft Tofu Stew, Spicy Rice Cakes and of course, Kimchi!
In Nuremberg, Germany, I am honored to teach at corporate global events, working with companies such as PUMA and DATEV, as well as offering private Korean cooking classes in collaboration with a local vegan cafe and community centers.
Teaching Korean Cooking has been an important way for me to connect to diverse communities, meet people and learn about a new culture. Cooking with others is always interesting, meaningful, peaceful and educational.
