Korean Drumming and Teaching Artist Programs

I worked as a teaching artist in the United States before moving to Germany.  I love to share my musical traditions and Korean culture with kids, especially!  I learned to play traditional folk drumming in Seoul and taught children at daycare centers, Kindergartens, community centers and schools in Wisconsin, USA. I worked closely with Arts at Large to support low income neighborhood schools and teach music. I also received a Master Teacher Award from the Wisconsin Folk Arts Board and co-founded a Korean drum group called Garam Milwaukee.  

In Germany, I continue to teach drumming and music classes for babies, children and students at schools, cultural centers, after school programs, holiday workshops & special events. My programs are educational, intercultural and interactive.
